J came across this documentary on Netflix a couple days ago. I have seen about half of it now, and I am impressed! I think it is really great to open the discourse to talk about all of these different aspects that impact breasts: body image and media representation of the ideal breast; how cultures differ with respect to attaching sensuality and sexiness to the breast (the US is one of only 13 countries that see the breast as a sexual body part); the role of the breast in breastfeeding and caring for children; and disease and health of the breast, including cancer. I recommend it!
